WELCOME TO WAIWAOLANI

Waiwaolani seeks to give voice to the very first Hawaiians, our native plants that made their way to Hawaiʻi by water/waves, wings, and wind naturally.

Literally WAIWAOLANI translates to

wai = water, wao = forest realm, lani = heaven/sky

Waiwaolani refers to the process where the forests and native ecosystems catch the moisture from the clouds and provide Hawaiʻi's fresh water. It is my hope that Waiwaolani will help bring attention to our precious water source in continuing to protect and conserve our native ecosystems.
