HOʻOMAU HAWAIʻI MARKET - Hawaiʻi Convention Center
I was able to join Protect & Preserve Hawaiʻi on a mālama ʻāina day in Pia Valley. Waiwaolani is happy to support conservation organizations who makes differences in our mauka areas.
A donation was made to the Skippy Hau Scholarship fund. We are blessed to know Uncle Skippy and learn about out aquatic species that reside in our kahawai. Water not only sustains us as kānaka but also many species living in our freshwater streams.
Finally, we also made a donation to Maui Forest Birds. I am astonished at the rapid decline of our native birds and it saddens me that we have already lost some of our native species.
Waiwaolani was able to donate to a dear friend and mom Nalani whoʻs daughter Halaʻi Sam Fong was diagnosed with Nueroblastoma Cancer. We continue to pray for our sweet Halaʻi as they work through treatments and recovery.
Although Waiwaolani usually donates to Conservation orgnaizations, Fall ʻ22 has been designated to help a dear friend who has been undergoing treatment for Breast Cancer. Waiwaolani has donated to Chanelle Kalama-Oliveira in hopes to help beat this cancer. We support and love her and will be there for her through this ongoing battle. Thank you for your purchases to help support Chanelle during this time.
Waiwaolani has donated 5% of sales of Charlie blouses in May & June to Maʻi Movement Hawaiʻi and a portion of the online sales to Maui Nui Botanical Gardens. Your Waiwaolani purchase will help these organizations within our communities. Please learn more about both organizations at
